

Aside from its five star quality (an understatement) the staff at Hout Bay Manor exude a genuine warmth that permeates the air from your car upon arrival to the moment you reluctantly leave. The staff were highly professional and have the seamless teamwork of one big happy family.
Pure restaurant is simple elegance; Chef Alex Mueller created wonders in the kitchen. The seafood was spectacular, the scallops melted in my mouth and the lobster was served to perfection. The dessert was simply delicious.
The menu was compelling, full of contrasting flavours and textures. We finished the evening on the gorgeous terrace with espresso's and latte's before reluctantly going home.
The decor not only in the Manor itself but in Pure too was elegant and enchanting combining the magnificent mirrored ceiling, with reclaimed driftwood screens and a colour scheme that features the food
