The Hout Bay Manor, built in 1871, is renowned as one of Cape Town’s most graceful landmarks. The beautifully restored Hout Bay Manor offers 16 individually designed en-suite rooms and an elegantly casual restaurant named ‘EAT’.
On the ground level visitors find an opulent open plan lounge and bar area, a tribute to style, Zulu and Xhosa grace. A designer marble bar offers all guests the opportunity to interact with fellow travellers or spend quiet time reading a great novel from the library. This Grand Dame’s sensibility oozes modern glamour and has a cheeky, quirky, mirthful sensuality that is filled with stories and magic. Filled with alchemy that will transport you to your sexy, your playfulness and peace it promotes a fearless passion to just come and be YOU! We really do bring the sexy to Hout Bay with whimsical warmth.
For the Children
We have a beautiful bed time story book written by Vanessa Raphaely called Princess Pincushion which we have made our in-house bed time story for the children who come and stay with us, it is a beautiful tale about a warthog princess and her adventures and it is a privilege to support a South African writer. We also have a great children’s menu available and a courtyard that is able to accommodate the little people and their creativity with crayons and colouring in pictures. The Courtyards have the ability to be closed and secured by our gates keeping the smaller people safe and sound whilst you enjoy a breakfast, lunch or dinner.
